60 Days No Excuses Update

It’s been a week since I kicked off my 60 Days No Excuses commitment. It’s been an interesting ride already. By day 3 I was realizing just how big a commitment I made…and was regretting it.  And now, on day 8, I’m back to feeling pumped and excited to get fit!

What have I learned so far? To not listen to my inner negativity!

There will be some days when I’m excited to work out. Great!  And there will be days when I’ll have to bootstrap it. Those days won’t be fun, but they will be worth it.

Sometimes my biggest critic is myself. Sometimes I’m the one saying it’s not possible. I might as well not try. I can’t do it. But that’s not true!  God’s word tells me I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me – ALL things. So getting fit shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

Where do I want to be in a year?  Where I am today?  No. I want to be better, further, faster.  And the only way to get there is to quiet that negative voice and make the most of my time each day. I don’t want to get to next year, and regret that I didn’t do something today.

Day 5: 10 minutes running up and down the stairs (harder than it sounds)

Day 6: 10 minutes running up and down the stairs

Day 7: 3 Week Body Bootcamp with Denise Austin

And there you have it! I’ve had days where I worked really hard, and days where I just worked. But I know, if I keep going, I will see results. And that’s what keeps me going!
